Insulating materials, foam…

These voluminous materials are most frequently stored outside where they are exposed to inclement weather. Polyethylene film packaging is ideal for these conditions: it combines low volume, moisture resistance and ease of marking.

Sample technical options :

Foams compressed before sleeve wrapping, for a stretch finish.
Partial packaging with side half-moons (to limit the amount of polyethylene film used) when leaktightness is unimportant.

Recommended packaging:
> Heat sealed
> Sealed, not shrunk

Heat-sealed packaging production line :
a sleeve wrapping machine envelopes the products and seals the film at the front and the rear. The products then pass through a shrink tunnel; at the exit the excess film on the side is pasted against the product to seal it hermetically.

Sealed, not shrunk packaging production line :
a sleeve wrapping machine envelopes the products and seals the film at the front and the rear. A side sealing unit seals both sides.
