Film packaging is a major asset in the production of these products traditionally manufactured in medium runs.
A single packaging line may be adapted for objects of varying sizes by using a side cutting unit.
The polyethylene film also offers other advantages :
Recommended packaging:

Heat-sealed packaging production line :
a sleeve wrapping machine envelopes the products and seals the film at the front and the rear. The products then pass through a shrink tunnel; at the exit the excess film on the side is pasted against the product to seal it hermetically.
Heat-sealed packaging production line with side cutting :
a sleeve wrapping machine envelopes the products and seals the film at the front and the rear. The excess film on the side is cut off automatically before the products enter the shrink tunnel. The advantage of this line is its tremendous flexibility, as the same line can be used for several product formats.
Sealed, not shrunk packaging production line :
a sleeve wrapping machine envelopes the products and seals the film at the front and the rear. A side sealing unit seals both sides.
